Vybrané Haagske procesy
This study deals with war criminals, which were brought to justice in Hague. The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, ICTY, was founded in the year 1993. These persons were charged with war crimes, which were perpetrated in the period of civil war on the territories of the former Yugoslavia. During the four years of continued war, which followed the break-up Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, all countries perpetrated brutality in form war crimes and crimes against humanity. The war in Yugoslavia cost ten thousand human sacrifices, a few million refugees and became a one of the bloodiest war conflict in European history.
