Several notices to the oldest Translations of Tripartitum.

Abstract

In this paper the author pays attention to the first Translations of the Werbőczy Tripartitum. In 16th Century the scientific language was Latin, but underneath the  influence of Renaissance national languages began to dominate. In Hungary the national language was Hungarian. The first Hungarian translation of Tripartitum was the Translation of Balázs Weres from 1565, which was published in Oradea. This translation was more noteworthy of modern Hungarian Language of Law than the second Translation from Caspar Heltai which was published in Kolozsvár. This article reports as to the causations of this phenomenon and provides concrete examples and documents differences between the two translations.
